D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to oversee business development, loan origination, and relationship management with customers and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university.
• One to two years of related experience and/or training.
• Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator as required by state.
• Possess general mortgage banking understanding (including but not limited to: lock procedures, program analysis, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory timelines).
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and support to Junior MLOs as assigned by Branch Sales Manager and Branch Manager.
• Interview mortgage applicants to understand their goals and educate them on their available financing options.
• Collaborate with Operations to facilitate efficient loan processes.
• Review reports and notes within origination software and CRM systems.
• Monitor new leads daily and market the company’s products and services to potential sources.
• Daily Pipeline Management from loan application to funding to ensure smooth processes.
• Ensure all borrower documentation is accurate and address discrepancies.
• Make presentations on loan products in sales meetings and with Sales staff in builder communities.

Education

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university

One to two years of related experience

Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license

Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator as required by state
