Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to oversee business development, loan origination, and relationship management with customers and clients.

You will work within the Branch Department to present loan products, manage pipelines, and coordinate with sales staff in builder communities. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree, 1–2 years of related experience, and a valid Mortgage Loan Originator license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.
• One to two years of related experience and/or training.
• Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator as required by state.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Interview mortgage applicants to understand financing options and goals.
• Be accessible to buyers and involved parties to provide updates.
• Maintain reports and notes in origination software and CRM.
• Review new leads daily and contact them to earn business.
• Pipeline management from application to funding to ensure smooth process.
• Make presentations on loan products in sales meetings and builder communities.
• Provide disclosures to applicants timely per regulations.
• Market products and services to potential business sources.
• Develop mortgage leads in builder communities and real estate offices.
