D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to oversee business development, loan origination, and relationship management with homebuyers. The role involves interviewing applicants, educating on financing options, and managing the loan process from application to funding.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree, MLO license, 1–2 years of relevant experience, and strong MS Office/CRM skills. The position supports a fast-growing, nationwide homebuilder with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university.
• One to two years of related experience and/or training.
• Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator as required by state.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; vision requirements.

Responsibilities

• Interview mortgage applicants to understand goals and educate them on financing options.
• Provide guidance to Junior MLOs and assist in loan process.
• Review reports in origination software and CRM.
• Daily Pipeline Management from application to funding.
• Ensure all documentation provided by borrower is accurate.
• Attend loan closings when possible.
