Job summary

Grand Casino Mille Lacs & Hinckley is seeking a Food and Beverage Ambassador to greet guests, handle check transactions, and ensure a positive dining experience.

You will seat guests, manage reservations, answer questions, maintain a clean, sanitary dining area, and work closely with hosts, servers, cooks and supervisors.

A Gaming Regulatory Authority license may be required; prior cash handling experience is valued; Mille Lacs Band membership preference will be exercised in hiring.

Qualifications

• Previous cash handling experience.
• Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
• Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR's).
• Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Receive payment from Guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Adhere to established cash control policies and procedures of Grand Casino.
• Seat Guests according to the establishment's procedures.
• Deliver excellent Guest Service in an upbeat, friendly manner.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary dining area in full accordance with state health regulations.
• Assist in maintaining stock of all necessary items.
• Answer telephones and make reservations, if required.
• Participate as a team member to ensure a smoothly run operation.
