Job summary

Rapid City Golden Corral is hiring a Buffet Cook to ensure hot choice products are prepared fresh, flavorful, and served at peak quality. You will follow established recipes, maintain temperatures, and help with carving and restocking when needed.

You will work in a team-oriented restaurant environment, with a focus on speed, cleanliness, and adherence to health guidelines. Compensation is minimum wage.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to stand/walk 3-4+ hours without breaks.
• Must follow Golden Corral recipes, procedures and quality standards.
• Able to lift 20-50 lbs and work in a temperature-controlled kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Hot Choice Buffet products per recipes and procedures.
• Grill items to Golden Corral standards for quality.
• Maintain food temperatures during cooking, holding and serving.
• Restock items at the Display Cooking Station when needed.
• Assist guests with carved meat options when required.
• Follow FIFO for inventory and rotate stock.
