Job summary

Metro Corral Partners, LLC dba Golden Corral is seeking energetic team members to join our dining team as a Cook. You will be responsible for hot buffet production, including carving and display cooking, following Golden Corral recipes and standards.

The Cook ensures food is fresh and hot, maintains proper temperatures, inventory, and cleanliness, and assists guests with carving and service. This is a franchise position with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Prepares Hot Choice Buffet products according to Golden Corral recipes and procedures.
• Grills items to Golden Corral standards to ensure quality.
• Uses FIFO inventory methods and maintains freshness.
• Follows local health department laws and maintains cleanliness.
• Assists guests with carved meat options when needed.
• Completes opening and closing administrative procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepares Hot Choice Buffet products, including Carving and Display Cooking, per recipes.
• Grills all items according to standards.
• Restocks items at Display Cooking Station if Attendant is unavailable.
• Maintains correct temperatures during cooking, holding and serving.
• Keeps buffet area and smallwares clean.
• Conducts inventory and FIFO rotation.
• Ensures guests receive hot and fresh buffet items.
