Garden City Golden Corral is hiring a Cook to ensure the quality, quantity, tastiness, and freshness of Hot Choice Buffet products. You will focus on speed, cleanliness, organization, and adherence to product specifications.

The role requires standing 3-4+ hours per shift with possible heavy lifting, and includes working in a temperature-variable restaurant. Flexible schedule and on-demand pay are offered as benefits.

Qualifications

• Position requires standing and walking 3-4+ hours without a rest break.
• Regular, moderate-to-heavy lifting (20-50 lbs.) is required.
• Work environment includes temperature extremes and requires use of utensils and tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepares Hot Choice Buffet products per Golden Corral recipes and procedures.
• Grills items to Golden Corral quality standards.
• Maintains freshness and proper temperatures during cooking and serving.
• Restocks and rotates food using FIFO, and conducts inventory checks with the Manager at shift start and end.
• Ensures cleanliness of Hot Cook area and smallwares; follows CSQ responsibilities and health regulations.
• Assists with carving when needed and delivers friendly guest service.
