Job summary

Maxfield Management Group is seeking energetic individuals to join our team as Cooks for the Golden Corral buffet. The Cook is responsible for the quality, quantity, tastiness, and freshness of all Hot Choice Buffet products, while focusing on speed, cleanliness, organization, and product specifications.

Responsibilities include preparing buffet products, grilling to standards, restocking display stations, assisting with carved meat options, and ensuring FIFO inventory.

Responsibilities

• Prepares buffet products according to Golden Corral recipes and procedures.
• Grills items to Golden Corral standards.
• Ensures fried products are hot and fresh.
• Restocks items at the Display Cooking Station when needed.
• Assists guests with carved meat options when Carver is unavailable.
• Follows FIFO to rotate inventory and check build-to with the Manager.
• Maintains correct temperatures during cooking, holding and serving.
• Performs opening and closing administrative procedures.
• Keeps equipment clean and maintained per manual.
• Maintains cleanliness of Hot Cook area and smallwares.
• Takes inventory with Manager at shift start and end.
