Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Brow Waxing Expert to maximize sales for the Benefit brand by engaging guests, determining needs, and performing brow/face services such as waxing and tinting. You will represent the brand, assist with product recommendations, and support events and in-store promotions.

The role requires an active Esthetics or Cosmetology license where required by state law, exceptional guest service, and the ability to learn and communicate product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience in makeup application; eyebrow and facial waxing, tweezing, and eyebrow tinting is preferred
• Proficiency with equipment needed to perform technical work
• High school diploma is preferred
• Cosmetology or esthetics license where required by state law

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed Benefit brand sales and service goals, and contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel, and retail shrink
• Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging every guest, personalizing service to their needs, and recommending products, samples, and services
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and guest service experience
• Perform short services at the Brow Bar, including eyebrow and facial waxing, tweezing, eyebrow tinting, strip lash applications, and threading
• Use appointment book or system to book guests’ appointments for initial services, return services, and events
• Meet average sales per labor hour and sales to service ratio goal
• Be knowledgeable of trends, products, and services to better serve guests
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance
• Contribute to an inclusive environment and support teammates and guests
• Attend brand sponsored trainings and maintain relationships with Benefit brand partners
