Job summary

Unum Group, headquartered in Chattanooga, TN, seeks an advanced front-line service professional focused on broker compensation and regulatory inquiries. This role supports broker relations across all Unum lines, coordinating communication until issues are resolved.

Responsibilities include educating partners on compensation practices, resolving inquiries, and collaborating to improve workflows and service delivery to brokers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience required.
• Customer service professional with experience required.
• Strong understanding of the marketplace, value of brokers, and challenges of plan administrators.
• Proven success in creative problem solving and being a consultative partner.

Responsibilities

• Educate on broker compensation programs across lines of business.
• Respond to inquiries independently and resolve broker compensation issues.
• Coordinate broker licensing, appointing, and contracting requirements.
• Partner with other areas to resolve cases and improve workflows.
