Job summary

David’s Bridal seeks an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to the brand’s high standards. You will join the store team and support the Store Manager with exceptional customer service.

You will greet customers, manage alteration scheduling, explain services, assist stylists with gown fits, and ensure garments are inspected and delivered pristine. The role requires sewing experience, retail experience, and a customer-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably bridal/special occasion.
• 1-2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service across in-person, phone, and virtual channels.
• Manage alteration flow and scheduling to deliver five-star customer experience.
• Perform alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming, and quality control to ensure pristine garments.
• Assist stylists with gown fittings and customization options to close sales.
• Maintain tidy alterations room and adhere to company Dress Code Policy.
