Thimble Alterations is seeking skilled bridal alterations specialists to join our network of independent professionals. You will alter wedding gowns, bridesmaid and mother-of-the-bride/groom gowns, conduct fittings, take precise measurements, and communicate timelines clearly.

Work from home, handle local client requests through the platform, and choose jobs that fit your schedule. This role offers flexibility to grow repeat clients and build strong reviews on your profile.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with bridal and/or women's formalwear alterations.
• Strong garment construction knowledge and precise measuring.
• Machine and hand sewing proficiency; professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Alter wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and mother-of-the-bride/groom dresses (hemming, bustle, bodice/waist, straps, cups, zippers).
• Work with structured bridal gowns (multiple layers, lace, beading, linings, boning/tulle).
• Conduct fittings, take precise measurements, and communicate timelines clearly.
• Deliver high-quality finishing and maintain an organized workspace suitable for fittings.
