Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards, while delivering exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with store teams and specialists to promote alteration services and personalized options, handle multiple customers, and maintain a spotless alterations area.

The role requires sewing experience, a high school diploma, and 1–2 years in retail.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
1–2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment.
Prior sewing experience required, bridal/special occasion preferred.
Prior experience with computerized POS (payment system) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service in person, over the phone, and via virtual chats.
Assist with gown fittings, alterations, and personalization options to drive sales.
Maintain alterations room cleanliness and organization; ensure garments meet quality standards before delivery.
Resolve customer questions and issues promptly following company guidelines.
Support stylists in closing sales by advising on gown fit and customization.
Process transactions accurately and assist with inventory and special orders as needed.
