Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to join our store team. You will complete fittings and alterations to the high standards of our brand and deliver friendly, knowledgeable service to customers.

Responsibilities include managing alterations, fitting garments, operating POS, and upholding dress code standards while ensuring a flawless shopping experience. Prior sewing experience and retail exposure are preferred; a High school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal or special occasion preferred.
• POS system experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone, or via chat.
• Assist customers with gown fit, alterations, and personalization options.
• Manage alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming, pressing and quality checks.
• Maintain alterations room and ensure pristine condition before delivery.
• Provide accurate pricing and partner with leadership as needed.
• Support cash wrap and process transactions accurately.
