Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to the brand’s high standards while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service. You will assist stylists, manage alterations, and maintain a clean, organized room to support a five-star experience.

A high school diploma and sewing experience are expected, with 1-2 years retail background preferred. Position is on-site in a bridal store setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store preferred.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably bridal or special occasion.
• Experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone or via chat.
• Manage customer flow to deliver a five-star experience and resolve issues.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by consulting on gown fit and customization.
• Maintain alterations room, quality control and ensure pristine condition of garments.
• Handle alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming, pressing and pricing per company standards.
