Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards while delivering five-star service. You will greet customers, coordinate with stylists, promote alteration services, and ensure garments are inspected and ready for final delivery.

A high school diploma and 1–2 years retail apparel experience are preferred, with prior sewing experience required to support bridal alterations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably bridal or special occasion.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm and communicate clearly.
• Promote alterations services and personalization options.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by consulting on gown fit and customization.
• Maintain alterations room and ensure it is clean and well-organized.
• Inspect garments altered/pressed to verify pristine condition before delivery.
