Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards while delivering superior customer service. You will work with stylists to discuss gown fit, promote alteration services, and ensure the alterations area remains organized and pristine.

Responsibilities include welcoming customers, managing flow with POS systems, resolving issues, and contributing to five-star service metrics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent degree.
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in apparel or specialty stores.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably bridal/special occasion.
• Prior experience with computerized POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone, or online.
• Use systems to manage customer flow and deliver five-star service.
• Maintain service levels by being prepared, welcoming, and responsive.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers at once and support store goals.
• Address customer concerns with confidence and escalate when needed.
• Promote alteration services and personalization options.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by discussing gown fit and customization.
• Keep alterations area clean and organized; inspect garments before delivery.
• Process transactions accurately and support cash wrap procedures.
