Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards, reporting to the Store Manager. You will deliver friendly, knowledgeable service and support bridal alterations and customization with the store team.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, managing flow, performing alterations, steaming, and ensuring pristine condition of garments before delivery. A high school diploma and sewing experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store is preferred.
• Prior sewing experience is required, bridal/special occasion preferred.
• Experience with computerized POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly in person, over the phone, or via virtual chats and resolve issues with clear communication.
• Aid in managing customer flow to deliver a five-star experience.
• Maintain service standards and assist with alterations, fittings, steaming, and dress presentation.
• Support stylists in closing sales by advising on gown fit and customization.
• Ensure alterations room is clean and operations align with company standards.
