Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards, reporting to the Store Manager. You will provide friendly, knowledgeable service and technical expertise as a valued member of the store team.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, managing fittings, maintaining the alterations room, ensuring quality control, supporting stylists, and processing transactions with accuracy to make every customer feel celebrated.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal and/or special occasion production environment.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone, or virtually.
• Assist with alterations and fittings, advising on gown fit and customization.
• Maintain alterations room and ensure garments are pristine before delivery.
• Provide superior customer service and support stylists in closing sales.
• Operate POS and process transactions accurately; resolve customer questions promptly.
