Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards, reporting to the Store Manager. You will deliver five-star customer service with friendly, knowledgeable, and technical expertise, supporting a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, advising on gown fit, coordinating with stylists to close sales, maintaining the alteration room, and ensuring garments meet quality standards before

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
1-2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment.
Prior sewing experience required, preferably bridal/special occasion.
Experience with computerized POS (a plus).

Responsibilities

Welcome customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm by phone, chat, and in person.
Assist stylists in closing sales by consulting on gown fit and customization.
Maintain alterations room and ensure garments meet quality standards before delivery.
Manage alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming, and spot cleaning to company standards.
Resolve customer issues promptly following company guidelines.
Provide product and service information and build long-term customer relationships.
