Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards, reporting to the Store Manager. You will provide friendly, knowledgeable, and technical service, guiding customers through alteration options and ensuring pristine final garments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store preferred.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal/spáecial occasion preferred.
• POS experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone, and online.
• Advise on gown alterations and customization options.
• Manage alterations, fittings, and sewing to company standards.
• Assist stylists in closing sales and ensuring five-star customer service.
• Maintain a clean, organized alterations room and inventory flow.
• Ensure pricing aligns with company standards and process transactions accurately.
