Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings to the store's high standards. The role involves welcoming customers, solving fit issues, and promoting alteration services in partnership with stylists.

You will manage the alterations room, inspect garments, and ensure quality before delivery, while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service and building lasting relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience, preferably bridal or special occasion production.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with fittings and alterations and promote services.
• Maintain alterations room and ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Coordinate with stylists to close sales and discuss gown fit.
• Inspect garments for quality before delivery.
• Handle pricing and store policies for alterations.
• Provide five-star customer service and resolve issues promptly.
