Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards and serve customers with friendly, knowledgeable service. This role reports to the Store Manager and is part of the store team, promoting the David’s Bridal brand.

You will welcome customers in person, over the phone, and virtually, manage flow using systems, assist stylists with gown fit, and ensure alterations meet company standards while maintaining a clean, organized alterations room.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience is required or preferred.
• Experience with a computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone, and online, and solve problems as needed.
• Manage customer flow using store systems to deliver a five-star experience.
• Assist stylists with gown fit and customization to close sales.
• Maintain alterations room and ensure garments are inspected for pristine condition.
• Resolve customer service issues promptly following company guidelines.
