Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to deliver high-quality fittings and alterations with friendly, expert service. You will work with brides and customers to ensure perfect gown fit and customization options, while upholding brand standards.

In this role, you will manage alterations, sewing, steaming, and final quality checks, greet customers, support stylists in dress selection, and keep the alterations area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal/special occasion preferred.
• Experience with POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, solution-focused service.
• Assist with alterations, fittings, and sewing to high standards.
• Explain alteration services and personalization options.
• Support stylists in closing sales through gown fit advice.
• Maintain store standards and a clean alterations room.
• Respond to customer questions with product and service information.
• Manage inventory, special orders, and quality control before delivery.
