David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to the highest standards, while delivering excellent customer service. You will work with stylists to advise on gown fit and customization, maintain the alterations room, and ensure pristine final delivery.

Responsibilities include managing alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming, and spot cleaning to company standards, supporting store operations, and helping customers feel celebrated.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal and/or special occasion production environment.
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone, or via chat.
• Use systems to manage customer flow and deliver five‑star experience.
• Maintain service levels and meet customers' emotional and practical needs.
• Provide an exceptional service experience to multiple customers at once and support Five‑Star service.
• Address customer concerns confidently and know when to escalate to leadership.
• Explain alterations options and promote all alteration services and personalization.
