Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to perform fittings and alterations to high standards, while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service in person and over the phone. You will oversee the alterations room, pricing, and quality checks to ensure pristine garments reach customers.

Responsibilities include advising on gown fit, assisting stylists with customization, maintaining store standards, and building lasting customer relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal and/or special occasion production environment preferred.
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone, or via chat, and resolve conflicts.
• Use all systems to manage customer flow and deliver a five-star experience.
• Maintain service levels with preparedness, welcoming attitude, and attentiveness to needs.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers and support store-wide five-star service goals.
• Address customer concerns confidently and know when to involve leadership.
• Promote alterations services and personalization options with stylists to close sales.
