David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to join our store team. You will welcome customers across channels and help with fittings, alterations, and personalized services, ensuring a five-star experience throughout their shopping journey.

You will work with stylists to ensure proper gown fit, maintain room standards, and manage alterations with precision, all while upholding David’s Bridal brand values and customer care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably bridal or special occasion.
• Experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers by phone, chats, and in person with friendly enthusiasm.
• Manage customer flow using store systems to deliver a five-star experience.
• Maintain service levels and address both emotional and practical customer needs.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers and support store goals.
• Address concerns confidently and escalate when appropriate.
• Explain alteration services and personalization options in partnership with Alterations.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by advising on gown fit and customization.
• Maintain store standards for a flawless shopping experience.
• Keep alterations room clean and well-organized.
• Process transactions accurately and support cash wrap processes.
• Inspect altered garments for quality before delivery to customer.
• Build long-term relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
• Assist with inventory and special orders pickup; ensure quality standards.
