Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards while delivering exceptional customer service. The role involves friendly, knowledgeable interactions across in-store, phone, and online channels, ensuring flawless alterations and personalized gown fitting.

You will support stylists in sales, maintain cleanliness of the alterations area, and uphold David’s Bridal brand standards in every interaction with customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal and/or special occasion preferred.
• Prior experience with computerized POS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with friendly enthusiasm across phone, virtual chats, and in person.
• Use all systems to manage customer flow for five-star service.
• Maintain service levels with prepared, welcoming, and responsive assistance.
• Assist in closing sales by advising on gown fit and customization.
• Keep alterations room clean and organized and ensure garment quality before delivery.
• Process transactions accurately at the cash wrap.
