David's Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialists to provide expert alterations, fittings, and exceptional service. You will welcome customers, assist stylists, and ensure high-quality garment finishing.

The role emphasizes technical sewing, garment care, and maintaining a flawless shopping experience in-store. Responsibilities include managing alterations, guiding fits, and upholding dress code standards while delivering friendly, knowledgeable support to customers throughout their purchase

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal or special occasion production.
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm and adapt communication style.
• Use systems to manage customer flow and deliver five-star service.
• Maintain alterations room and ensure garments are pristine before delivery.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by advising on gown fit and customization.
• Maintain store standards and dress code compliance for a flawless shopping experience.
• Manage alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming, pressing and spot cleaning to company standards.
• Resolve customer issues quickly following company guidelines.
