Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to the high standards of David’s Bridal and reports to the Store Manager. The role emphasizes friendly, knowledgeable, and technical expertise with superior customer service.

Essential duties include greeting customers, coordinating alterations, assisting stylists with gown fit and customization, and maintaining an organized alterations room while ensuring quality control before delivery to customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal/special occasion preferred.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with friendly enthusiasm and resolve issues to deliver a five-star experience.
• Manage alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming, and quality checks to company standards.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by advising on gown fit and customization.
• Maintain alterations room and inventory control to support a flawless shopping experience.
• Resolve customer questions with product and service information and build lasting relationships.
