Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to the brand’s high standards. You will provide friendly, knowledgeable service and technical expertise to ensure customer satisfaction across the store team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store recommended.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal or special occasion production.
• Experience with computerized POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine enthusiasm in person, over the phone, or online and adapt communication to solve problems.
• Manage customer flow to deliver a five-star experience using store systems.
• Maintain service levels, be prepared, welcoming, and responsive to customer needs.
• Provide exceptional service to many customers at once and contribute to five-star service goals.
• Address customer concerns confidently and know when to escalate to leadership.
• Explain alteration services and customization options to complete fittings.
• Assist stylists with gown fit and customization to close sales.
