Job summary

David’s Bridal, Inc. is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards. You will provide friendly, knowledgeable service and support the store team with alteration services and customization options.

Responsibilities include managing multiple customers, communicating options, and helping stylists close sales while upholding dress standards and brand guidelines. This role is part-time and located in-store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably bridal/special occasion.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone or virtually.
• Manage customer flow to deliver a five-star experience using store systems.
• Maintain service levels by being prepared, welcoming and responsive to needs and requests.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers simultaneously and help achieve Five-Star Customer Service.
• Address customer concerns confidently and know when to involve leadership.
• Explain alterations and personalization options in partnership with alterations team.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by advising on gown fit and customization.
• Maintain store standards for a flawless shopping experience.
• Ensure staff adhere to dress code and look professional.
