Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to the high standards of the brand. You will welcome customers in person, over the phone or online, communicate clearly, and solve problems with friendly expertise.

You will manage the alterations room, inspect garments, coordinate with Stylists to tailor gowns, maintain store standards, process transactions accurately, and build lasting relationships to ensure five‑star service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience, preferably in bridal or special occasion.
• POS system experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone, or virtually.
• Use all systems to manage customer flow and deliver a five-star experience.
• Maintain service levels by being prepared, welcoming, and responsive to needs.
• Provide an exceptional service experience to multiple customers at once.

• Promote alterations services and personalization options with customers.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by consulting on gown fit and customization.
• Keep store standards for a flawless shopping experience.
• Maintain dress code compliance and a clean alterations room.
• Process transactions accurately and support cash wrap activities.
