Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards. You will interact with customers in person, on the phone, or via chat, and work with stylists to ensure perfect gown fit and customization.

Responsibilities include managing alterations, pricing at company standards, and maintaining the alterations room in a clean, organized state. A high school diploma and sewing experience are required, with retail experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal or similar production environment.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers by phone, virtual chats, and in person with enthusiasm.
• Manage customer flow to deliver five-star service using store systems.
• Perform alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming and inspect garments to standards.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by advising on gown fit and customization.
• Maintain store standards and dress code compliance; support inventory tasks.
