David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to our high standards. You will support stylists, promote alteration services, and ensure exceptional customer experiences in a retail setting.

The role requires sewing expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple customers while maintaining store standards and a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent degree.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal and/or special occasion preferred.
• Experience with computerized POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine enthusiasm via phone, chat, and in person; adapt communication to solve problems.
• Manage customer flow using all systems to deliver a five-star experience.
• Maintain service levels by preparing, welcoming, and meeting customer needs.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers and support store goals.
• Address concerns confidently and partner with leadership when needed.
• Explain alterations and personalization options to customers and stylists.
• Assist stylists in fitting discussions and closing sales.
• Keep store standards and dress code compliance high.
• Escort customers to alterations and ensure garments are pristine on delivery.
• Maintain alterations room, inventory, and pricing to company standards.
