Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards. Reports to Store Manager; part-time role in our store setting; welcomes customers and supports stylists with gown fit and customization.

Responsibilities include managing alterations flow, pricing, sewing, steaming, and ensuring quality before delivery; maintain clean alterations room; deliver five-star customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of retail experience in apparel recommended.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal or special occasion preferred.
• Experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with enthusiasm in person, on the phone, and online.
• Manage customer flow to deliver five-star service.
• Perform alterations, sewing, steaming, and finishing to high standards.
• Assist stylists with gown fittings and customization.
• Maintain a clean, organized alterations room and inventory.
