David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards, reporting to the Store Manager. You will demonstrate friendly, knowledgeable, and technical expertise with superior customer service to ensure a five-star shopping experience.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, managing flow, assisting with gown fitting and customization, maintaining the alterations room, and processing transactions accurately while upholding store standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal and/or special occasion production environment.
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and deliver five-star service in person, on the phone, or online.
• Manage customer flow using store systems to ensure a smooth experience.
• Assist stylists with gown fitting and customization.
• Maintain alterations area and ensure quality control of altered garments.
• Process transactions accurately at the cash wrap and support inventory management.
