Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations with high standards. The role involves friendly, knowledgeable service, and collaboration with stylists to ensure gown fit and customization.

You will maintain the alterations room, inspect garments, and support a flawless shopping experience in a busy retail environment. Qualifications include a high school diploma, 1–2 years of retail experience, and prior sewing experience, ideally in bridal or events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent degree.
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal and/or special occasion production environment.
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine enthusiasm and adapt communication style to suit customers.
• Use systems to manage customer flow and deliver five-star experience.
• Maintain service levels by being prepared, welcoming, and meeting customer needs.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers and support store Five-Star goals.
• Address customer concerns with confidence and collaborate with leadership when needed.
• Promote alteration services and personalization options to complement the dress.
