Job summary

David’s Bridal, Inc. is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards, with emphasis on friendly customer service and technical expertise. The role reports to the Store Manager and is part of the store team dedicated to the David’s Bridal brand.

The position requires high school diploma, sewing experience, and retail familiarity, with opportunities to work with alterations, steaming, and garment finishing in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent degree.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal and/or special occasion production preferred.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person.
• Use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience.
• Maintain service levels by being prepared, welcoming, and meeting customers' needs.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by consulting with customers regarding gown fit and customization.
• Maintain alterations room and ensure pristine condition of garments before delivery.
