David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards while delivering exceptional customer service. The role reports to the Store Manager and is part of the store team, upholding the David’s Bridal brand values.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of retail experience in apparel, prior sewing experience, and familiarity with POS systems. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills help ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal and/or special occasion preferred.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine enthusiasm in person, over phone or virtual chats.
• Use systems to manage customer flow and deliver five-star service.
• Maintain store standards and ensure a flawless shopping experience.
• Provide alterations expertise and advise on gown fit and customization.
• Assist stylists in closing sales and promoting alteration services.
• Maintain alterations room, quality checks, and inventory handling.
