David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards and to deliver superior customer service. This role reports to the Store Manager and is part of the store team, embodying the David’s Bridal brand in every interaction.

Responsibilities include welcoming customers, managing alterations flow, and maintaining the alterations room with attention to quality and presentation. High school diploma and sewing experience required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal/special occasion preferred.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers via phone, virtual chats and in person with friendly enthusiasm.
• Use systems to manage customer flow and deliver five-star experience.
• Maintain service levels by being Prepared, Welcoming, Meet the Needs & Be There for customers.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers at once and support store's five-star service.
• Address customer concerns with confidence and escalate to leadership when needed.
• Explain how alterations can enhance the dress for events and promote services.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by advising on gown fit and customization.
• Maintain store standards for a flawless shopping experience.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment

Prior sewing experience
