Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to the brand’s high standards. The role reports to the Store Manager and involves friendly, knowledgeable, and technical service for customers.

Prior sewing experience and strong customer service are required. You will manage alterations, fittings, and garment finishing, maintain the alterations area, and support stylists in closing sales.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent degree.
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal and/or special occasion production environment.
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone, online chats, and in person.
• Assist alterations, fittings and sewing to David’s Bridal standards; inspect garments before final delivery.
