David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations with high standards, delivering exceptional customer service. You will work as part of the store team, ensuring seamless alterations while upholding the brand’s policies and dress code.

The role involves assisting customers, supporting stylists, and maintaining an organized alterations area. Prior sewing experience and retail exposure are valued in this part-time position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Sewing experience is required, preferably in bridal or alteration environments.
• 1-2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty stores is preferred.
• Experience with computerized POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist and greet customers in person, over the phone, and via chat with friendly enthusiasm.
• Manage alterations, fittings, and sewing to meet David’s Bridal quality standards.
• Support the store team to deliver five-star customer service and maintain store standards.
• Assist stylists with gown fit and customization discussions and close sales where appropriate.
• Maintain a clean, organized alterations area and follow Dress Code policies.
