Job summary

David's Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards and assist the Store Manager in delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will greet customers, discuss gown fit, and coordinate with stylists to ensure quality and satisfaction.

Strong sewing experience and superior customer service are required, with the ability to manage multiple customers and keep the alterations room organized in a fast-paced bridal environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably bridal and/or special occasion production environment.
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and communicate clearly to solve problems both in person and via phone/online.
• Assist with gown fitting, alterations, and personalization options in partnership with Alterations.
• Maintain alterations room and ensure quality control of garments before delivery.
• Support stylists to close sales and maintain five-star customer service.
• Process transactions accurately at the POS and assist with store operations.
