Job summary

David's Bridal in Aurora, CO is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to the brand's high standards. You will welcome customers, consult on gown fit, and coordinate with stylists to ensure a flawless shopping and alteration experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal or special occasion production.
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm and adapt communication style to the customer.
• Use all systems to manage customer flow and deliver five-star service.
• Maintain service levels with preparation, welcome, needs, and presence for customers and tasks.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers at once and contribute to five-star service.
• Address customer concerns confidently and partner with leadership as needed.
• Explain how alterations contribute to dress perfection and promote alteration services.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by consulting on gown fit and customization.
• Maintain store standards and dress code compliance.
• Greet and escort alterations customers to appointments and inspect garments for quality.
