Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist in Colorado to complete fittings and alterations to high standards and deliver superior customer service. You will work with stylists to ensure proper gown fit, maintain the alterations room, and uphold store standards throughout the customer journey.

The role requires sewing experience and retail familiarity, with part-time hours in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience required, preferably bridal/special occasion.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm and communicate clearly.
• Use all systems to manage the customer flow and deliver five-star experience.
• Maintain service levels by being Prepared, Welcoming, and meeting customer needs.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers at once and support store targets.
• Address customer concerns confidently and escalate when needed.
• Explain alterations and personalization options and promote related services.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by advising on gown fit and customization.
• Maintain store standards for a flawless shopping experience and adherence to dress code.
