Job summary

Opaa! Food Management is seeking a kitchen attendant to prepare breakfast and/or lunch, assist with serving lines, and participate in occasional catering.

You will perform multiple kitchen tasks, maintain clean work areas, stock supplies, and help with menu prep while ensuring safe temperatures and quality presentation. The role requires teamwork, basic food-handling knowledge, and a courteous approach to students and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or related experience acceptable.
• Ability to follow menus/recipes and work safely with kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast and/or lunch and assist with serving lines.
• Assist in menu prep and batch cooking while maintaining quality.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other equipment with proper care.
• Keep areas clean, organized, and stocked; follow FIFO.
• Monitor food temperatures and assist with HACCP practices.
• Provide hospitality and ensure correct portion sizes and presentation.
