Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a versatile kitchen helper to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings, assist with serving lines, and participate in occasional catering events.

You will perform all kitchen tasks, follow Opaa! recipes, maintain clean workspaces, manage food temperatures, and support safety and quality standards while delivering friendly service to students and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to provide customer service and operate a cash register.
• Basic math skills for counting, rates, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines and ensure correct food temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes.
• Operate kitchen equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain neat and clean work areas.
• Record daily production and assist with meal counts.
• Support safety and HACCP compliance.
