Job summary

Opaa! Food Management is seeking a kitchen associate to support breakfast and/or lunch preparation, assist serving lines, and help with occasional catering events.

You will perform a full range of kitchen tasks, from prep to dishwashing, while maintaining food safety standards and friendly customer service. Responsibilities include assisting with serving line setup, prepping according to menu plans, operating kitchen equipment, and ensuring proper portion sizes and presentation for customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the set-up of serving lines daily and ensure food is held at proper temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate equipment with proper certification and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Clean kitchen and cafeteria areas; maintain FIFO stock and organized cooler/storage racks.
• Monitor temperatures and HACCP processes; follow safety procedures and daily logs.
• Assist with daily dishwashing, inventory, and coordination with the Kitchen Manager.
