Responsibilities include food prep, cooking diverse menu items, station setup, and maintaining cleanliness. The role requires flexibility with hours, teamwork, and a commitment to food safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 1+ years as line cook or similar culinary role preferred.
• High school diploma plus culinary arts schooling or related major.
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet timing requirements.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Team-based work environment experience or ability to collaborate.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion ingredients for dishes following recipes and guidelines.
• Cook and grill a diverse range of items with precision and attention to detail.
• Set up cooking station with tools, equipment, and ingredients before service.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure dishes are ready simultaneously.
• Inspect ingredients and finished dishes for quality, taste, and presentation.
• Follow food safety and sanitation practices to prevent cross-contamination.
• Understand menu offerings and assist with changes and updates.
• Keep cooking station clean and organized; maintain equipment and utensils.
